Ministry of Sound Resident DJ & Club Booker
Louder Events Booker/Events Manager
Ryan Spicer is a DJ/Producer/Events Manager and Ministry of Sound resident DJ and Booker hailing from London. Ryan already has years of experience in his locker from performing at house parties from an early age, to now regularly performing and promoting events at various prestigious venues across the globe including London and Ibiza, with venues from Printworks to Ministry of Sound to Amnesia, supporting the world’s leading electronic artists.
Since putting in the hours building a faithful following through his DJing and production from a young age, he hasn’t looked back locking in sets all across the capital at the biggest venues it has to offer. Ryan Spicer's sound is rooted in house, but he has an eclectic style that can switch up from chilled poolside beats to big room action, from melodic tracks to high energy fillers.
Always a crowd pleaser, but never predictable, Ryan Spicer will often throw an unexpected curveball – deep, dark underground house basslines, with perfectly layered well-loved commercial vocals in the mix; always going the extra mile for the crowd, always reaching for that extra edge.
His debut at London’s hallowed Ministry of Sound in 2014 was just the beginning, and since then he has taken his sound to the wider world holding down a residency for Together at Ministry of Sound and Printworks, performing in Ibiza, performing across the capital for brands such as ANTS at the likes of E1, Egg, 02 Academy Brixton and Electric Brixton, a headlining residency for London’s leading boat party events, joining Rinse FM, Select and Centreforce radios with stellar guest mixes whilst also joining the Lock N Load Events family as an events manager.
He has been a part of a leading team of promoters in the UK since 2017 with now working with Louder and Ministry of Sound as a booker, and he has promoted Together, SW4, The Gallery and various other brands/events at the world’s leading venues such as at Amnesia, Alexandra Palace, SSE Wembley Arena, Ministry of Sound and 02 Academy Brixton.
2019 began with a headline 103 performance inside Ministry of Sound in February and another nine performances followed that year at the club meaning he has now supported the likes of Tchami & Malaa, Maya Jane Coles, Jonas Blue, M-22, Mike Williams, Joris Voorn, Paul van Dyk, Lucas & Steve, Martin Jensen, Sigala, Danny Howard, James Hype, Sigma, Netsky, Zeds Dead, Flux Pavilion, TroyBoi, and Danny Avila. An exclusive worldwide Data Transmission Radio show broadcasted on Friday 12th April in 2019, and he also went on to make his Printworks debut on October 19th, opening the iconic main room.
2020 was a huge year for Ryan, as he signed his first ever debut EP ‘Waiting For You’, which was then released in Jan 2021 and reached #2 on the Beatport House chart. He had his debut for the prestigious brand ANTS with sets at both Printworks and E1 for their day & night parties in February 2020 before lockdown, and he also joined SW4 to be a part of their livestream weekender in replace of the postponed festival, opening the Saturday live online to over 150,000 people; A huge milestone and set for Ryan. Adding to this guest appearances for Rinse FM, Select Radio, COGO and also signing five more tracks to five different labels, Ryan really has made the most of lockdown and he is ready to go when things return with a debut release ‘Voices In My Head’ which is a collab with Duckworthsound on Showtek’s Label SKINK Records on Friday 21st May 2021, and a disco house debut track out in August 2021 on PLAYEDiT Records.
Ryan’s residency continues for Ministry of Sound when the club reopens in 2021, and he is set to perform at the re-opening party closing the iconic ‘Box’ main room. Amongst an array of other bookings for when clubs reopen, he also has a booked headline slot in Asia for when things return, with this proving there are no limits and this is just the beginning with much more to come this year and beyond as things return…
